London 2006: London, England

After sitting on our shelf for almost 6 years we’ve finally gotten around to editing the footage of our trip to London.  This video is very dear to us for a few reasons: (1) This was our honeymoon, which was quite a lovely way to start off our marriage.  (2) It has always been Noelle’s dream to travel across the pond and experience London first hand.  Considering she’s the biggest anglophiliac I know, this was her dream come true!  If you notice, I am not in any of the footage, which only confirms my theory: I was not actually on vacation in London. I was just there to document her experience. Hah hah hah!   (3)  This video documents our very first trip together, but it also a documents the first steps of our adventure; and it has been quite an adventure so far!  We’ve traveled to so many places, learned about many cultures, and gained invaluable experiences.  So we look to the future and all that it will bring.

Exif Data Zoom Stairway at People’s Park: Tagaytay, Philippines
This park in Tagaytay was quite beautiful. At People’s Park, you can ride horses, have fish eat your dead skin, ride a zip-line, have a picnic and hike the mountain. There is a gorgeous view of Lake Taal and the Taal Volcano. We rode the zip-line across the side of the mountain. At first I was petrified, but after a few moments, it was quite exciting. There were heaps of people have picnics and hanging out. I wish we could’ve spent more time there since there was loads to do, but we were so tired from going up the volcano. If we ever go back, I would love to go back to People’s Park and spend the whole day there.

Exif Data Zoom Blowing Rocks: Jupiter, Florida for Memorial Day
ganda-ganda:

This is where Markus and I spent Memorial Day with our friends, Kuya and Alexa.  The waves were really big and we went out and swam with the waves. At most times, it was getting slammed and taken away with a wave but it was fun. I’m not the greatest swimmer in the world. I don’t know how to hold my breath and my throat really hurts from swallowing salt water, but it was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I’m really gonna miss Kuya and Alexa because when we come back from Korea we most likely won’t be coming back to South Florida. So, these are the last few days with them. Ah, it’s bittersweet, but I’m glad that we can at least spend this time with them.

The mall is huge. It even has it’s own ferris wheel, zipline and more. We didn’t have much time to explore and they wouldn’t let us ride the ferris wheel. Ah Philippines, you don’t make sense sometimes.

First time I’ve ever been to a Plantation or been near a hay stack. I love old things and places rich with history.  This Plantation was turned into a hospital during the Civil War and you could still see the blood stains in the floor boards. Super creeps. I was half expecting to see the Ghost Hunters crew or ghosts showing up in my photos.

Experience Music Project: Seattle, Washington circa November 2009

ganda-ganda:

Not sure how to describe this place. I wouldn’t have gone if it wasn’t connected to the Science Fiction Museum. I remember when I told Markus that there was a Science Fiction Museum, the look on his face was pure joy. Since both museums are in the same building we walked around for a bit. I liked this little section. They had old record covers on the wall and an old vintage TV with a shag rug to emulate the feeling of that era.

I always wanted to live in a castle, but, I didn’t want to clean it. Could you imagine having to clean it all by yourself? Although, if I lived in a castle, I guess I could afford to have people clean it. But then living in a huge house like that might be lonely… I can’t believe I just went on this tangent. If you’re still reading this, thank you for reading my inner ramblings.
